Saint Meinrado
January 21st IX century Ermitaño Sacerdote
In the mountains surrounding the Lake of Zurich, among the Helvetii (today Switzerland), saint Meinrado, presbyter, who carried the first cenobite and later hermit, life being killed by thieves (c. 861).
