St. Apollinaris, Bishop, at the same time that propagated among the gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, went before his flock as a good Shepherd, who is tradition that honoured with his illustrious martyrdom to the Church of Classe near Ravenna, in the via Flaminia, passing to the eternal banquet on July 23 (c. s.
