  Commemoration of Saint Abraham, Patriarch and father of all believers, who called by God, left his homeland, the city of Ur of Chaldea, and made a pilgrimage by the land that God had promised to him and his descendants. He manifested all his faith in God, hoping against all hope by not refusing to offer in sacrifice the only-begotten son, Isaac, that the Lord had given him, already old man, with his wife Sara.

• Saint John Leonardi

  Saint John Leonardi, priest, who left the city of Luca, in Tuscany, where worked as pharmacist, to get to be a priest, and in order to teach children Christian doctrine, restore the apostolic life of the clergy, and spread the Christian faith, instituted the order of Clerics Regular, later called the Mother of God, and had to suffer so many contradictions. He also initiated the School of Propaganda Fide, where he, exhausted by work, rested piously.
