• Saint Stephen

  Feast of St. Stephen, Protomartyr, man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, who was the first of seven deacons who the Apostles chose as his Ministry partners, and also was the first of the disciples of the Lord, who shed his blood, bearing witness to Jesus Christ to say that he saw him sitting on the glory at the right hand of the father in Jerusalem, being stoned to death while he prayed for the persecutors (century I).
