  In Langres, in the Gallia Lugdunensis, martyrdom of saint Desiderius, Bishop, who is told that when noting that his flock was vexed by the Vandals, he approached his King to plead for it, but he was sentenced to death by the former and surrendered freely for the sheep that had been entrusted to him (c. 355).
