Saint Stanislaus
Memory of St. Stanislaus, Bishop and martyr, who, among the difficulties of his time, was constant defender of humanity and Christian morality, governed as good shepherd the Church in Krakow, helped the poor, visited each year their clergy and, finally, while celebrating the divine mysteries, was killed by order of Bolesław, King of Poland, who he had reprimanded.
