Saint John Eudes

Saint Juan Eudes, priest, who for many years was devoted to preaching in the parishes and later founded the Congregation of Jesus and Mary, for the formation of priests in seminaries and other religious of our Lady of Charity, to strengthen in the Christian life for the repentant women. He fostered the devotion to the sacred hearts of Jesus and Mary in a special way until in Caen, in the region of Normandy, France, where he piously rested in the Lord. Roman martyrology
