Saint Fidelis of Sigmaringen, priest and martyr, who, being a lawyer, decided to enter in the order of the brothers minor Capuchins, leading a law-abiding life of vigils and prayers. Regular in the preaching of the word of God, he was sent to the region just to consolidate the true doctrine, and in Sevis, Switzerland, was martyred by the Calvinist heretics because of the Catholic faith.
