Saint Cuthbert Mayne

In Saint Esteban Fano, in England, saint Cuthbert Mayne, priest and martyr, who embraced the Catholic faith and ordained a priest, exercised his Ministry in Cornwall until, under the reign of Elizabeth I, he was sentenced to the death penalty for having published a few Apostolic letters, being the first of the students of the school of the English of Kilmaeduagh who was martyred.
