In lower Brittany (today France), saint Convoyon abbot, who founded the monastery of Saint Salvador, in Roten in which, under his direction and following the rule of Saint Benedict, a large number of monks flourished, but destroyed the monastery by the Normans, founded a new house in Plelan, where he died already octogenarian.
