Saint Batilde of Chelle

In the monastery of Chelle, on the territory of Paris, in Gaul (now France), saint Batilde, who, being Queen, founded a monastery under the rule of Saint Benedict, in the style of the monastery of Luxeuil and the death of her husband, Clodoveo II, ruled the Kingdom of the Franks. When his son took power, he retired to the mentioned monastery, living until the end of his days under the observance of the rule.
