In Pontoise, near Paris, blessed Mary of the Incarnation (Barbara) Avrillot, who, mother of exemplary family and extremely devout wife, introduced in France the Carmel, founding five monasteries, and, widowed from her husband embraced the religious life. Roman martyrology
