Saint Vicent Paul

September 27th XVII century

Memory of St. Vincent Paul, priest, that full of priestly spirit and delivered in Paris in the service of the poor, saw the face of the Lord in every suffering person. He founded the Congregation of the Mission (Vincentians), type of the primitive Church, to form Holy clergy and provide for those in need, and also with the cooperation of saint Luisa de Marillac, founded the Congregation of the daughters of charity.
