Saint Stephen Harding

In the monastery of Cistercian, in Burgundy (today France), saint Stephen Harding, Abbot, who along with other monks came of Molesme and, later, was at the forefront of this famous monastery, where instituted converts brothers, received the St. Bernard with thirty companions and founded twelve monasteries, who joined with the bond of charity's Charter, so there is some discord among them, but that the monks to act with unity of love, of rule and similar customs.
