Saints Martyrs Marcellinus, presbyter, and Peter, Exorcist, of who is told that the Pope Saint Damasus, in the persecution under Diocletian, sentenced them to death, and taken to the place of the ordeal, which was filled with bushes, after forcing them to dig their own grave were beheaded and buried, to not leave them in any sepulcher, but later, a pious woman named Lucila moved their remains to Rome, on the via Labicana, at the cemetery called "ad Duas Lauros" (c. 304).
