Saint Juliana of Nicodemia

February 16th IV century

Converted to Christianity, was noted by her enthusiasm and ardor in the dissemination of the faith, so she was imprisoned, tortured and finally decapitated the year 305. Her body was transferred to Cumae, in Italy, and afterwards her relics arrived in Spain, where in her honor the counts of Castile raised the famous monastery of Sainttillana (Saint Ileana), one of the best monuments of the middle ages Spanish
