Saint Ephraim, Deacon and doctor of the Church, who first worked at Nisibis, his homeland, the Ministry of preaching and teaching of the doctrine, but when the Persians invaded Nisibis moved to Edessa, in Osrhoene, where, with the disciples who had followed him, began a theological school, exercising his Ministry with the word and writings.
