Saint Basil of Ancira

Ancira, Galatia, saint Basil, priest and martyr, who, appointed by Emperor Constantius, strongly resisted the Arians, and under the Emperor Julian prayed to God so no Christian disregarded of the faith, therefore, arrested and handed over to the prefect of the province, had to suffer much to consummate his martyrdom.
