In the village of Son-Tay, in Tonquin, saint Augustine Schoeffler, priest of the society of foreign missions of Paris and martyr, who, after three years exercising his Ministry, was imprisoned and, by order of Emperor Tu Duc, in a place called "five acres" was beheaded, thus obtaining the grace of martyrdom that daily had asked God.
