Saint Andrew Corsini

Fiesole, Tuscany (today Italy), saint Andrew Corsini, Bishop, of the order of the Carmelites, who was distinguished by its austerity and assiduous meditation of Scripture. Wisely governed the Church that entrusted to him, repopulated the monasteries emptied by the plague, lent aid to the poor and reconciled to the dissidents. Roman martyrology
