In Lausanne, between the Helvetii (today Switzerland), Amadeus St., Bishop. Monk of Clairvaux, he was appointed Abbot of the monastery of Hautecombe and elected, later, to the episcopal see, from where he educated with skills to young people, formed a clergy pious and chaste and sang the praises in his preaching of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
