Saint Alicia of Schaerbeek

June 11th XIII century

In the monastery of La Camabre, near Brussels, in Brabante, saint Alicia or Aleide, Virgin, of the Cistercian order, that at the age of twenty-two contracted leprosy and was forced to live as a recluse. Towards the end of his life was private of the view, so that not a single member of his body was healthy, except for his tongue to sing the praises of God.
