In the monastery of Cisteaux, in Burgundy (today France), saint Alberic, Abbot, who, being a monk at Molesme, was one of the first religious who founded the new monastery and, having been elected Abbot, managed the monastery protruding through his zeal in the formation of his monks, as a true lover of the rule and of the brothers.
