In London, Beatus Thomas Woodhouse, priest of the society of Jesus and martyr, who was ordained a priest in time of the Catholic Queen Mary, subsequently, in the persecution under Queen Elizabeth I, imprisoned for more than twelve years, reconciling the Catholic Church to his fellow captives, until he consummated their martyrdom at Tyburn.
