Blessed Pierre Rene Rogue

March 3rd XVIII century

In Vannes, of lower Brittany, in France, blessed Pierre Rene Rogue, priest of the Congregation of the mission and the martyr, who at the time of the French Revolution, rejecting the unjust oath imposed on clergy, secretly remained in the city, to meet with his Ministry to the faithful, and sentenced to the death penalty, ultimately rested on the mercy of the Lord in the same church where he celebrated the sacred mysteries.
