In the monastery of Saint-Bertin, of the region of Thérouanne, in France, death of blessed Bernard, penitent, who to atone for the sins of his youth voluntarily chose exile, and barefoot, dressed in a poor habit and eating with sluggish, made a pilgrimage incessainttly visiting holy places.
